I AM THE HERO!

I can count a lot of people who made headlines around the world. But the important thing is the people who are worth counting. There are a limited number of heroes who have proven themselves in every field and guide the next generation to prove themselves. We call them heroes because every person who believes in themselves and fight to overcome even the hardest of struggles in their lives even just to exceed their limits, and takes steps without fear is a candidate to be a hero.

You don’t need those saviors in fairy tales. You are the darkness, it is entirely your own mind that drives yourself into despair. But you must remember that you are also the light itself. I remind myself of that in the most desperate times in my life. The moment I can stand up is not tomorrow, not the next day at all. If life is a single moment, this is the moment when I feel strong. I have to stand up and take steps forward for all my values, for my dreams, and for those who tell me I can never do it.

I have to fight. Because, to define it in another way, life consists of difficult courses of struggles. I have been defeated multiple times, I had and have multiple obstacles, I have crossroads, I have indecisive moments, which is the worst… The worst thing I could do for myself was walking down the path of indecision. When I said I have to walk on this road now, I started running towards my target that day. They always say the worst decision is better than indecision. It really is.

You must have a goal, you must have obstacles, you must have passion and you must run to the top with enthusiasm. Muhammad Ali: “I don’t count my sit-ups straight away. I start counting when it starts to hurt. What do you think he meant when he said, “they are the only ones worth counting”? What is valuable if not the steps that made it final. Isn’t it the toughest moments of wars that counted? I’m sure your face turned strange when I told you that you could be your own hero because you didn’t believe it. Is it not your consciousness that’s powerless? While Muhammad Ali was training in pain, his only passion was to reach his goal, he believed that he could do it. His mind and heart had found a common language, and he was a self-contained warrior.

I’m the hero! You need to say this, you need to tell yourself to the fullest that the struggle begins now. Are you going to start working out? Start now! Are you going to fight? Start now! Do you have a dream, set it as your goal now! Time is the most precious treasure in the world, those who do not appreciate it, those who postpone everything that they will do today to tomorrow cannot be heroes. Because the track has time. You have to move fast to surpass yourself!

It will hurt, there will be times which you’ll cry, and there will be days which you’ll give up, but you can’t be a hero if you don’t stand up! Champion? Never.
